Lucky's trail of straw - Nov 13, 2012the black blasting mats are piled neatly beside some big boulders as if the blasting is done. The work now is clearing out the rocks and measuring the depth of the trench to make sure it is right for the foundation.
Just 150 yards away, Lucky resorted to stealing again. He was quick to take advantage of an open gate between his den and Honey’s den—and Honey’s absence. The trail of bedding he raked from Honey’s den to his own tells the story. In the pictures of his face, we don’t know if he looks guilty or just thoughtful.

Measuring depth of trench - Nov 13, 2012Honey is always the last to settle down—usually shortly after Thanksgiving. Lucky’s spurt of activity probably means the staff will keep the door shut between the dens.
We learned the news piece about the upcoming Den Cams on KBJR-TV Channel 6 in Duluth will air tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6 PM due to an abundance of news stories today.
They will also mention the GiveMN campaign for the Hope Learning Center addition and provide donation instructions on their web page.
Today was a day of inside work for us as one of us was laid low with a migraine and the other worked on presentations.

Last year, Lily Fans showed their commitment and passion for education. The march toward success continues.
