Today is the 5th anniversary of Lily giving birth to Eli and Ellie in 2013. She surprised us by giving birth 9-10 days earlier than her previous litters (January 22, 2010 for Hope and January 21, 2011 for Faith and Jason).

Today began with the temperature down to minus 23°F with a beautiful blue sky and bright sunshine. Chickadees sat with their feathers puffed out for insulation.
I’m feeling stronger with less coughing and starting to feel confident that everything will be okay. Thank you for all your encouragement! I can brag that I lost 12 pounds.
