Barred OwlHere at the WRI, the New Year started with a visit from a barred owl (Strix varia) followed by many visits from the fox. She seemed hungry with temperatures starting at minus 28° F and never reaching zero.

I am thankful for all that you did for the bears and bear education in 2021. I’m looking forward to all that can happen in 2022. More on that later.
