Holly, Lucky, Suet, and a Bucket - UPDATE February 6, 2017

In this 5½-minute video, Holly still has her big pile of straw, much of it stolen from Lucky, while Lucky seems content in his meager bed. Chickadee flyingChickadee flyingThe two have yet to physically interact, as far as I know. https://youtu.be/jH2eGURhC9M

Out the window, snow covered treats of yesterday (date mash and sunflower seed hearts), so suet was in. Even chickadees and blue jays were in line for it, along with the usual woodpeckers. A few chickadees found seeds, as did the one in flight.

Elsewhere, a video showed men helping an adolescent bear that had its head stuck in a bucket-like structure for a month. At first the bear tried to escape. Then it ceased struggling while being held by a man with arms like Atlas. Two other men sawed apart the rim of the structure. At the end, my heart swelled when the bear realized it was free, could see, and could flee. http://www.reshareworthy.com/bear-with-bucket-on-head-helped/#7oouljhsczZZQ6Hy.03
