Ted, Tasha and WRI Visitors - UPDATE September 29, 2016

On Ted's last couple days out he has been eating grasses on the mound. Today, after he went to the door of his pen and wanted in, TedTedTasha was up on the mound sniffing where Ted sat and ate grass like the big guy. She even passed up grapes for grass.

TashaTashaAt the Wildlife Research Institute, Brownie found Sadie there again, and they shared food from her bowl and nuzzled each other affectionately. They left separately, though. Not many bears are coming, so the clean-up crew is having a heyday. A gray fox joined in this afternoon.

Blue jays are still coming. Some people might not like their calls at dawn, but these widespread birds have to be one of the most beautiful.
