NABC Bears, Research Bear sightings and Frogs - UPDATE June 15, 2016
Mike reported that Victor put in an appearance at the research cabin late last night. He appeared to be alone. Last time we saw him on May 31 he was with
Curious Holly 11-year-old Shannon (Donna’s daughter). Bow showed up alone at about 5 AM this morning.
It was a very busy day at the Bear Center. The rain brought in a constant flow of visitors; we are hearing many good reviews.
Tasha in her water bucketBear Curator Sharon Herrell sent us this update on the NABC bears.
Many of our Tasha cam watchers reported that Tasha spent time in the bunker den and may have even slept there last night, a good sign she is settling in.
Today Heidi, Missy and myself engaged Tasha in play. She stood up and licked my nose and hand. Lucky and Holly both came to the fence, she went to her corner and climbed but was talked down. She gave a little blow in my face. She sat on her side of the fence watching for Lucky. Heidi talked to Holly near the small bunker. All went well.

We engaged Tasha with the tug rope through the large wire fence. She played for about 30 seconds. We are pleased with her progress so far.

| Frog feeding time | Tasha with NABC Staff |
The interns are doing a terrific job caring for all of our critters. They spent time looking for worms yesterday, and today they fed them to the frogs.
Thank you for supporting the NABC and the WRI.
