Bears - UPDATE April 28, 2015

HollyHollyAt the Bear Center, Honey got a back rub from Sharon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trM47kM_gjU Then Sharon let Ted out. He must have felt he needed a bath after the long winter and took full advantage of the creek while Sharon cleaned up his pen and chalet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yr9L-kyK33w

Sharon lets ted outSharon lets ted outAt the WRI, the mystery 2-year-old (126 pounds today) showed up again but is very skittish. He runs from anything he doesn’t understand and won’t come close. His light muzzle should identify him when we get time. He is likely one of the 5 male cubs born in 2013 to Shadow, June, Braveheart, or Lily.

Scat dutyScat dutyBear-watchers are letting us know of other bear sightings that now include RC and her 2 yearlings. Of course, Lily is the bear we are most anxious to hear about.

The list of contact information for the members of the committee to next hear the bill is http://www.bearstudy.org/website/images/ stories/images/Updates_2015/ Senate_Enviro_Econ_Dev_Ag _Budg.pdf

Thank you for all you do.
