Donna’s Eye is Healed – UPDATE July 26, 2014
DonnaLynn saw a bear and was initially confused. It looked like Donna’s pretty face but without the bad eye. Lynn snapped a picture for the record. On the computer, the picture was clear. It showed how the lower eyelid was cut and permanently disfigured but now completely healed.
HummingbirdIntrigued by hummingbirds, as usual, Lynn couldn’t help snapping a picture of one in the sun after he took the picture of Donna. The bright throat grabs one’s eye, especially when it is glowing against a dark background.
At the Bear Center, Holly and Lucky continued their playful relationship. They have little tiffs when Lucky eats something Holly wanted, but then they’re back being buddies again.
Lucky and HollyThe tiffs are nothing physical that we’ve seen, just a disappointed Holly with her ears back as Lucky confidently does his thing. One nice thing is that we haven’t found bears to hold grudges.
A decal and tote bag were added to the web store today in celebration of the Lilypad Picnic. Seeing them brought back a little of the good feeling we had those 3 days.
Looking forward to the Black Bear Field Course that starts tomorrow.
Thank you for all you do.
