Faith is catching up

Faith_sampling_grass_seed_-_20110623We believe Faith is catching up to other cubs—at least to Bow’s two cubs.  We saw them today and doubt that they are much bigger than Faith.  The picture on the right was taken yesterday of Faith.  The picture on the left was taken today of Bow’s male cub.

Probably the best news today was that Dana Coleman’s first grade class was featured on page 9 of the Minnesota Education Association Newsletter at http://mydigimag.rrd.com/publication/?i=70451 .  It goes to every teacher in the state, so more classrooms could be tuning in to Lily and Hope in the fall.

We especially liked these two sentences about the importance of the bears to the students.  “Every single parent I’ve talked to has said that this was their kid’s favorite thing.  They said, “Before when I asked what they did in school, the kids would say nothing, but when asked about the bears they would go on and on and continue to talk about everything in their day,” she (Dana) said."

Thank you for all you are doing.
