Quiet Day - UPDATE September 4, 2018

On this windless day, the nearest hunter I know of is 0.8 mile away.  The baits near the property boundary hano hunters today Kimani and her two cubsKimani and her two cubsAn hour ago, after a rain, with an hour and a quarter of hunting time left, Kimani and her cubs appeared and were edgy.  A noise sent them leaping up a white pine.  Theyre still up there, now resting, with only 15 minutes of hunting left Were on edge, too.

On a sad note, Bill Sloan, who, with his wife Bitsy made the big effort to bring Tasha here from Kentucky is gone. So many Lily Fans are so dear.

Thank you for all you do.
