Tasha - UPDATE April 3, 2018

Tasha is doing things I’ve seen in the wild. When bears want to make beds where there is snow, they often bite off branches, DeerDeerincluding cedar branches, like Holly did in this video. I didn’t see whether she actually used it in her bed, but the next scene shows her at the bed. Good capture: 7 minutes long. https://youtu.be/IPza7qHGSus

Out the window, a doe was looking in. This morning, the semi-tame crow looked almost pensive as it snowed. Later, on the same branch, it cawed. I’ve always wished I knew more about animal minds.
