Still reeling!

Lynn and Donna Rogers have gone to visit family and witness the baptism of their 6-month-old grandson—quiet family time after the busy birthday. Rest assured they took a box of birthday cards with them to read!
Lynn is still reeling from yesterday’s festivities and the incredible outpouring of love and support from Lily’s fans. He and Donna are amazed at the wonderfully clever cards and heartfelt words. Lynn plans to share these cards by including them in a display of ‘Bears in Art and Culture’ at the Bear Center. These cards are too great to hide away!
The donations to the NABC in honor of Lynn’s birthday have left us speechless. Just when we think things can’t get better, they do. Lynn’s birthday cards contained nearly $5000 and the 340 donations made online in honor of Lynn’s birthday since April 8 total $13,000. Incredible!
This evening we added 2 new Lily & Hope items to the NABC Gift Shop—a new mug and a tote bag. It didn’t take long for Lily’s fans to discover them!
Today we have been monitoring June and Lily from our computers. Lily is still bedded near the white pine, but June and her yearlings have begun to roam.
