Today, it felt good to see 3-year-old Chloe and her healthy cubs and know that they survived and are ready to den up after a summer of scarce food.
It also was good to learn that the proposed ban on feeding bears is off the table for 2022. That means this community that has peacefully coexisted for 60 years with bears like Chloe, her cubs, and some of the oldest bears in Minnesota will be able to continue. It means that we will be able to continue following the stories of these bears without them going house to house in bad food years like the last two years have been. We are thankful to everyone involved.
Thank you for all you do.
