No Real Update- UPDATE August 15, 2020

No real update tonight because I spent much of the day at the funeral of our nearest neighbor here—Darnell StageBear eating chokecherriesBear eating chokecherries (96 yards house to house) who has always been a good friend and supporter. Also because we are getting ready for the Black Bear Field Course that starts tomorrow (7 participants), and half of the grandkids have to leave tomorrow. The funeral was sad but a good service and a good time talking to neighbors and hearing about the berry scarcity and more than usual sightings by people who want the bears to do well.

Cinnamon and her cubs were here as usual—also Colleen and her cubs and Ohio and her cubs along with others. The picture is of a bear enjoying chokecherries delivered from Ely. He dripped chokecherry juice from his lips as he paused to acknowledge that he was having his picture taken.

Thank you for all you do.
