Bears, Moose, and Squirrels - UPDATE September 18, 2019
As bear hunting action wanes and bears become more nocturnal and less active with the approach of hibernation, an even bigger animal visited. The picture is not great, taken with a cell phone through a vehicle window, but it proves that a moose was in the driveway yesterday. I haven’t seen one around here for over a year. Moose numbers are down. Out the window, red squirrels are now brown after shedding their reddish summer fur.
