Three years ago on this day, we lost our beautiful brown 20-year-old Honey. A week earlier, she sat down 10 feet from her pen and never got up. My best memory of her was when she denned in the rock den in front of the viewing windows. I happened to be near there when Lucky walked by and Honey made pleasant, welcoming sounds to him. Lucky knew what those sounds meant.
Honey tributeThey touched noses, and he squeezed into the den with her for the winter, sleeping snuggled behind her for maximum protection from cold and wind. In spring, they played together which was unusual for her. I believe it is the only time I saw her play.
Her admirers made two tributes to her

Both are filled with memorable pictures and nice music—about 3-4 minutes each.
Her admirers also raised much of the money for the grave marker with her name on it in front of the Bear Center. She had her own individual personality that made her a favorite of many. We miss her.

On a happier note, Quill was one of the three bears that visited the WRI in the last three days.
On another happy note, Holly and Tasha are playing and Holly and Lucky are playing and chasing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm-jZeGuC-k 4:44 minutes.
Thank you for all you do.
