Hope - UPDATE January 23, 2019

Remembering Hope and the goals that surrounded her when Sarah Bailey spelled out what the name Hope stood for back when all of us and Cub Food Stores were in the process of naming her:

H	Hope for bear populations everywhere, including endangered species around the world	Lily & Hope in the den 3-17-10
O	Opportunity to learn what bears are really like	Lily & Hope 8-16-10
P	Progress toward correcting misconceptions and changing attitudes	Lily & Hope 8-16-10
E	Education about bear life	Lily nursing Hope and cubs 4-8-11

I’d say Hope brought people together to make substantial progress in all that her name stood for.

The four pictures show Lily and Hope before and after the breakup. The little cub nursing alongside big Hope was Jason.
