Bears in the Night, Winter Birds Arriving - UPDATE October 2, 2018
The wild bears have become almost entirely nocturnal as they prepare to call it a year. The face in the night is a bear we couldn’t see well enough to identify.Bear Buddies
The yard light showed two adolescent bear buddies on the scale recording their joint weight. The closeness that develops between play buddies is nice to see. They will share food nose to nose without any strife.
Chickadees are back in number, eating seeds and plucking insects from tree branches.
