Ted eating snowI don’t know how so much straw ended up in front of Ted’s den and how he got such a big snow cone to eat on this 46°F Valentine's Day, but he looked good in the sun in the luxury of his den.

Chickadee with no tailOut the window, we wanted a chickadee picture for the Ecology Hall to highlight this favorite bird that is tamer here than it is in much of the United States. We got a picture we liked but then saw it had no tail. Darn.
