Cub Names, 12 Days of Christmas, Wary Deer - UPDATE December 10, 2017

I’d like the names of the two remaining female cubs of Ursula and Wendy to be Lyla and Mae after my adoptive mother Lylamae who encouraged my interest in nature and in becoming a biologist.Deer on alertDeer on alert I still have my first bird book that I got for an early birthday, maybe first or second grade. My interest in bears developed on its own, but that grew out of the interest in nature instilled by her enthusiasm.

Deer with one antlerDeer with one antlerSpeaking of enthusiasm, the Pond Chatters and Moderators came up with another fun 12 Days of Christmas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5VACLm_SvY.

Out the window, the deer with one antler is still coming. He’s the one that uses his antler on other deer and those deer watch for and run from. He dominates the blocks of date mash when he is here. When deer are at the date mash blocks, the main direction they look for danger is the direction he comes from.

Thank you for all you do.
