Visitors were delighted today to see Lucky and Holly climbing the Pat Tree for treats. The bears can tell if treats are in the feeder platform.Holly climbing They look up and evidently can see through the screen bottom of the suspended platform. Lucky wasn’t fooled when a staff member pulled the feeder in and sent it out again, which usually is a sign that it has been refilled. He looked, saw nothing through the screen, and ignored it. Same with Holly.
Lucky also was resourceful in digging up nuts that red squirrels had buried in the cedar pile.
Thank you for all you do.
