Beautiful End of Day - UPDATE July 17, 2016

Meeting this great group made my day, then the phone started ringing as community feeders told us what they had for the group to see. RC and her cubs got the vote, but the cubs were up a tree. CrackleCrackleSoon the sun was setting, and the beauty and nature made everyone’s day. V-Dot caused a stir as he emerged from the shadows and calmly joined us. Jack, always a favorite, came next. Crackle showed us how he curls the tip of his tongue down to grab hazelnuts sent by Lily Fans. He uses the top of his tongue about an inch from the tip. How he holds onto them, nobody knows. A deer came out of dense brush and caught some rays. Woods Lake lit up with reflections of golden clouds. Finally, the sun faded as a herring gull patiently waited for his share of the bounty.

A good day.

Thank you for all you do.
