More Bear Visits and a Big Thank You! - UPDATE June 18, 2016

Mike reported that Heinrik (mother RC), Cole (mother June) and yearling Nancy (mother Bow) paid a visit to the WRI last night.  ColeColeNancy was very calm but later she appeared to run 3-year-old Cole off.

HollyHollyThis morning 14-year-old Braveheart showed up alone and hungry.  Her yearlings Geneva, Stratton, and Porter have gone through family breakup and are on their own; hopefully they will make an appearance at the WRI.

Tasha enjoyed her daily game of Tug-of-War as seen on this video captured by one of our interns: https://youtu.be/mWAoEB-hwEw.

We heard from Dr. Rogers and Donna today.  All went well with the presentations and they are enjoying a few days in Alaska visiting the Wildlife Conservation Center and the Alaska Sealife Center.  Dr. Rogers will be back to work on Tuesday.

A huge thank you for everyone that supported the Birthday Fundraiser today! All of the proceeds will go toward food for the bears.  We are humbled by your generosity.
