Quiet Day - UPDATE November 5, 2015
The word I hear is that Lucky and Holly spent a quiet day in their den together. Meanwhile, Scott is trying hard to get the sound working on the new camera he uses for “Live at the NABC” and is trying to get things lined up to switch out the camera in Lucky and Holly’s den for an infra-red camera so we can see the dynamic duo at night, too.
At the WRI, it was a quiet day of writing and emailing. More on that soon.
When I went out to feed the birds, they were waiting. I took my camera out with me and snapped a picture of a white-breasted nuthatch that was anxiously waiting and then hopping down to the food—also a hairy woodpecker waiting on a branch until everything was in place.
Thank you for the donations you are making for GiveMN already.
Donna and I are looking forward to the Mystic Lake gathering. We’ll be driving down (5 hours) on Saturday, so there likely won’t be updates on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Returning on Monday.
At the Bear Center, we’re scheduling a Free Day for Saturday, November 14.
Thank you for all you do.
Lynn Rogers, Biologist, Wildlife Research Institute and North American Bear Center.
