Progress for Ted - UPDATE October 9, 2015
Big TedThe red maple with yellow leaves out the window looked better with more sun today.
HollyAt the Bear Center, staff and volunteers set up Ted’s chalet den and put the finishing touches on the door of his enlarged pen as Ted greeted visitors next door at his temporary pen. He should be in the new pen soon. He, of course, will still use the big enclosure a bit, but he usually just wants to walk down to the pond, see some people, eat a bit and then walks back up to his pen after a couple hours.
Holly is still sharing a den with Lucky, but she is not as lethargic as Lucky. I wanted to catch them both resting in the big bunker den this morning, but Holly got up and out before I could get to the entrance for the picture.
