Excitement - UPDATE September 21, 2015

Cinnamon phase Juvenile spottedCinnamon phase juvenile spottedThere was excitement in the community with the appearance of a beautiful cinnamon-colored juvenile male. He’s probably 2-3 years old and just passing through in search of a mating range—very skittish. Out West, this color would be common. Here, it’s different. We’ll be on the lookout for him but won’t be surprised if today is our only look. I appreciated being notified about the appearance so I could go snap ID pictures for the catalogue. No chest blaze and a beautiful face with a light muzzle with the light fur extending up onto his forehead. He’s distinctive enough to be easily recognized if he stays around.

Lily Fans already covered some of the costs for the Hope Learning Center in a past fundraiser. Thank you.

Thank you for your contributions for bear food.

Thank you for all you do.
