Hope's Legacy Continues - UPDATE September 16, 2015

Precious Hope - May 10, 2010Precious Hope - May 10, 2010
On this sad 4th anniversary of Hope’s death, we can rejoice that her legacy continues through the Lily Fans that she brought together. I think of her every time I walk into the Hope Learning Center and every time I walk past the exhibit there in her honor.

Stratton - Braveheart's cubStratton - Braveheart's cubLily and her cubs may be giving up ownership of the den they have been visiting. The trail cam showed that she and the cubs sniffed the entrance, found Ember in it, and walked on three times (Sept 14 at 9:08 AM and 12:18 PM and on Sept 15 at 1:36 AM). But Ember comes and goes. She left the den at 6:32 AM yesterday and was not in the den at all today. If Ember wins the den, we hope she gives birth in front of our Den Cam.

Braveheart’s and her cubs showed up today. Stratton identified himself by showing his little patch of white as he descended from a big white pine the cubs climbed during a rainstorm.

Thank you for all you do.
