Monarch release with Donna RogersThe live animal corner of the new Ecology Hall is a hit with youth. Under supervision, they can handle snakes and turtles and can watch frogs. In the aquarium, they can watch fish in action. Today was also a day of watching a monarch butterfly hatch and be released while educating the importance of milkweed for monarch butterflies.
The loon family is back together today. Instead of one parent and one chick it is both parents and both chicks.
Frogs & Snakes & Turtles, oh my!
