Bow and a Special Offer - UPDATE June 19, 2015

Bow standingNine-year-old Bow was here briefly at 8:30 AM with her eyes and ears constantly scanning her surroundings while she tried to eat fast as if she was very hungry and wanting to get somewhere. The picture shows one ear listening forward and the other listening behind. I suspect her cubs were nearby.

At 134 pounds, she was down 7 pounds since her last visit 5 days ago. Lactating mothers without supplemental food often lose weight in spring until the berries ripen. I didn’t notice nipples with her standing, so she might not be producing a lot of milk. With her low weight, we hope her cubs survive.

We have a new special offer on Bear.org's gift shop.

Many of you may have already heard of the comprehensive collection of images and information that Lily Fan Olatz Azcona Munarriz had gathered into 5 hardback books over the course of Lily and Hope's life together. These books were incredibly detailed, totalling over 1,979 pages complete with all of the updates and photos from those two action filled years. Click here to view a PDF with several of the pages from the books. Give it a minute to load, there are a lot of pages sampled.

The web store is offering all five books in their entirety on a specially made USB flash drive and you even get a free magnet in the package. Regularly priced at $29.95, now only $19.95. Available here.
