Bear Center Bears - UPDATE May 22, 2015
Ted in Cedar ChipsThe NABC began their extended hours for the summer today 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, and Judy Thon resumed her popular worldwide podcasts at 11 AM, 1 PM and 4 PM daily. Catch them at http://www.bear.org/website/live-cameras/live-cameras/ptz-pond-cam-live.html on www.bear.org and sign into the Pond Chat room to see and hear about our ambassador bears.
Red SquirrelA highlight was Ted thoroughly enjoying his cedar chip pile.
At the WRI, spam-addicted herring gulls made the day lively with their visits. The nice semi-tame one took a piece with my hand less than a foot away and is quick to learn feeding routines. The others will have to become more trusting before they can open their minds to what this gull picks up.
Since Samantha’s family breakup, little Mike has come regularly but Lorie came only the first night after family breakup, apparently splitting apart from Mike as is usual.
A good, productive day.
