First Bear Sighting, Lucky, Holly, and Volunteers - UPDATE April 17, 2015

Mallard PairMallard pairA neighbor a mile away spotted the first bear I’ve heard of this year. It was visible only through brush.

Lucky and Holly played ring around a tree and then played with the fire hose attached to it.

Scott Edgett interviewed Glenn and Nancy Krause today—two volunteers with a story to tell, as you will see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIzk2G4YRlo.

At dawn on the way to work, a pair of mallards were beside Trygg Road and a muskrat was swimming by with too little light to stop the action.

Later, I heard the trumpeter swan pair was back on Robinson Lake and had to take a break from the computer to see. Along the way a half dozen painted turtles were sunning on a log, and the owner of this lakeside lodge was slapping his tail. Beautiful day.
