Ted heads for chaletTed moved on his own to the recovery room—his chalet den—at 5:22 PM. He stood at the entrance for about 20 minutes and then went in and lay down. About an hour and a half later, he came out to urinate.

The lead veterinarian remembered that Ted had trouble walking and had issues with his front footpads shortly after arriving in 2007. The veterinarian wasn’t worried about the earlier weight loss since Ted fully recovered the weight so quickly.
