Steel worker on lift - Jan 31, 2013With Lily and Jewel hunkered down in the cold today (currently Zero F), the biggest action of the day was at the Bear Center. There, construction workers began erecting the steel supports for the Hope Learning Center (HLC) roof and the staff selected precious Hope memorabilia that will be part of the HLC.

Jewel nuzzles yearling - Jan 31, 2013Tonight, the bears face major cold, 27 F below. The high tomorrow is predicted to be 6 below. That should keep the bears quiet…well…maybe not exactly quiet, but hunkered down at least.
