Classroom Characteristics – UPDATE June 26, 2012

Blueberries - June 26, 2012Blueberries - June 26, 2012The focus today was determining what we need in the multi-purpose classroom for the Hope Education Building. With so much technology becoming available, we want to build for the future and for broadcasting information to classrooms across the country and around the world. Seating requirements, projection requirements, and satellite connections all are important—as well as making it handicapped accessible. We want to be ready for the meeting with the construction company and architects on July 19. Exciting and daunting. Lily Fans are helping with suggestions for teaching and research on requirements. Thank you!

Blueberries - June 26, 2012Blueberries - June 26, 2012Blueberries are ripening but are patchy this year. Juneberries turned out to be small and hard—not the best. But the bears with working GPS units are foraging in forests and clear-cuts. Lily has dropped off the map and may need her GPS batteries replaced although it’s only been 7 days out of the usual 10-12 since the last battery replacement. We’ll try to home in on her telemetry signal this evening. Dot’s batteries need replacing too.

Thank you for all you do.
