Although we are still writing the DNR report, we wanted to take time off and clear our minds doing something completely different and of great importance. We poured over your survey results. The survey team did a huge amount of work amassing the statistics of the survey. We saw your comments. Comments from the heart, helpful suggestions, and some that people worried would not be passed on to us. We read and we thought. What an asset Lily fans are. What good insight into how to make many things better.
For some things, there is a great need for people knowledgeable about bears—especially the research bears. There is nobody better for that than Lily fans. As we’ve said before, talking with Lily fans is like talking with family. Lily fans know the bears, the updates, and the entire family tree of Shadow’s clan as shown in the Shadow’s Clan Calendar. When the volunteer form is activated online in January, we are hoping to find Lily fans who can share their knowledge with Bear Center guests. It would fill a need many of you identified for making the Bear Center better. And there is probably no better place to meet other Lily fans.
