Honey, Lucky, and a Story

bear claw marks on birch near Lily's den - Dec 3, 2011bear claw marks on birch near Lily's den - Dec 3, 2011As we have said, we don’t believe Honey is pregnant.  But, supposing she was, what would happen if Honey had cubs with Lucky in the den?  The first word some say is “Lunch.”  A Lily fan sent a story that suggests something else http://www.animal-space.net/2011/04/daddy-bear-who-cant-help-cuddling-his.html .

The father reminds us of Hope’s relationship with Jason and Faith, which no one would have predicted, either.  How little do we know about the minds of bears?  Sometimes it takes doing something new to learn something new.  The Den Cams are doing that for all of us.  We can’t wait to see what Honey and Lucky, what Lily and Faith show us, and especially what Juliet will show us if we are granted permission.

Still writing our response to the DNR.

The Bear Center staff is delighted so many are choosing to do their Holiday Shopping in the online Gift Shop at http://www.bear.org/website/gift-shop.html .  They are cheerfully filling the many orders coming in for calendars, mouse pads, bear ornaments, pictures, and more.

Thank you for all you do.
