Woods Lake - Nov 14, 2011Woods Lake - Nov 14, 2011Today was too nice a day to stay inside.  Woods Lake here was calm and mostly covered by ice and snow under a blue sky.

Sue took a rare day off to get her house and yard ready for winter—likely her last chance as snow flurries are in the forecast for the rest of the week.

Lynn enjoyed the view out his window as he worked on a letter requesting permission for Juliet’s Den Cam and responded to a flurry of emails among Den Cam Team Members about the technology and costs.  8-year-old Juliet will turn 9 in January and should have cubs.  We hope to get the Den Cam installed earlier than before so we can see more of her behavior leading up to labor and birth as well as how she cares for the cubs.  Juliet’s 3 litters have been 2, 3, and 3 cubs.

We were glad to see your good suggestions for how to handle requests to help other organizations.  We hope Lily fans are making a difference for the 3 organizations we linked to yesterday.

We’re making preparations (video, etc) for the Give MN “Give to the Max Day” on Wednesday, November 16.  More on that tomorrow.

Thank you for all you do.
