The first bear to get ribbons in preparation for the hunting season is Sharon, the yearling daughter of Juliet. A couple hours later, Sharon’s sister Shirley was similarly adorned. We would like to see Hope join them, too, if she is willing. All collared bears are safe. More will be ‘ribboned’ in the next few days.

The North American Bear Center web store finally has the 3-DVD set ($24.95) Lily and Hope: Memories of 2010. The first DVD of the set has all the updates of 2010 along with the pictures and videos from them. They are all on the DVD so they will play instantly without waiting for them to download from the internet. Probably the best thing about that DVD is that all the updates are word searchable. If anyone wants to look up a topic, it is suddenly easy. The other two DVD’s in the set are the videos that Linda Gibson captured and posted in 2010 plus some new ones to fill in gaps.
