Holly making her Bed, Deer Competing for Corn - UPDATE January 11, 2017
In this 5-minute video, Holly makes her bed while Lucky lies unmoving. At the end, Holly looks briefly at Lucky, tucks her head, and does what Lucky is doing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-XjLquwu6w
In this 7-minute video, Holly stretches tall at 56 seconds and appears to be licking frost off the ceiling—recycling her own breath moisture. At 4:43, she shows her progress removing the foot pad from her left front paw. At 6:21 she pounces, probably after Vinnie. Lucky remains undisturbed throughout. Again, at the end Holly settles down. Good views in color. https://youtu.be/cIGwCU8RlnY
Out the window at the Wildlife Research Institute this morning, three deer families competed for corn on the bear scale. Here, a mother shares the scale with her fawn while her other fawn approaches. Another mother chased a competing deer past the window while a deer nibbled at the date mash just a foot away through the window (no photo). It was a nice start to a day at the computer.
Thank you for all you do.
