Bill, Victor, and the Gull - UPDATE May 18, 2015
We’re optimistic about HF846 from what we hear from the inside and should get the final word tomorrow.
Victor (15-17 years old) paid a visit a couple evenings ago and was chased away by RC.
Last night Samantha and Aspen were on the scale together. This evening, they arrived together and fed nose to nose. Definitely an item.
The semi-tame herring gull took exception to a pesky red squirrel. The gull lowered its head and extended its head and bill toward the squirrel that seemed to know the gull wasn’t being friendly. The squirrel tested its limits coming close to get sunflower seeds. A couple times the gull flared its wings to emphasize “No.” Later, the squirrel got access to the sunflowers but kept turning to look over its shoulder at the gull. The pictures show the story.
We feel optimistic that we will hear good news about the bill tomorrow.
Thank you for all you did and do.
