Lily on the move - May 7, 2012We didn’t realize the split would come so soon. Yesterday, Lily was preoccupied by the scents in an area where males had recently passed. Today, Lily and Faith split so Lily can concentrate on producing her next litter. Faith was wary and cautious on her own. More on this tomorrow.

Tonight at 9 PM EDT, the BBC’s Planet Earth Live, renamed 24/7 Wild, airs on Nat Geo Wild channel. We are anxious to see how much of the bear story survives the cut from 70 minutes on Planet Earth Live to about 43 minutes plus ads on 24/7 Wild. This update is a bit rushed as we try to get out the door to head for town to view it!
