Bear Educators Needed - UPDATE January 2, 2020

It's the time of year when many people make a New Year's resolution, but by March they have forgotten the resolution, or it's just not any fun. How about making a resolution to have fun, meet like-minded people from around the world, and help black bears?

It is a unique opportunity for anyone who is interested in wildlife, helping people learn the true nature of black bears and have fun. The North American Bear Center is located near Ely, MN just outside the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area. A great location for an outdoor enthusiast.

No need for previous experience, our Senior Bearkeeper Sharon and our Director of Education Judy will give you one on one training. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work in a team environment are a few of the traits that we look for. We are seeking applications for our 2020 season. Thank you for all you do.
