A Happy Christmas - UPDATE December 26, 2019

Donna and I had a quiet time eating, walking, looking at tracks, catching up on things.20191226 ChickadeeChickadee

At the WRI, Stripe emerged from under the first floor deck but did not come up for bologna from us. She probably has a lot stashed already, and might have been hungry for something else. It was Christmas, after all. She headed out—maybe to catch mice.

This chickadee that looked in the window today has a single white feather over its right eye. It’s one that will sit on my hand. It’s only one day after Christmas. I should have still had enough Christmas spirit to go out. I’ll do better next time.

Thank you for all you do.
