Busy With Bears - UPDATE July 15, 2019

After a great day of seeing amazing Ursula and her four cubs and other bears,ShadowShadow things seemed to be winding down when the phone rang. Shadow was just a half mile away. Everyone piled into the van to see her white 32-year-old face. A couple pictures from earlier included a picture of 2-year-old Goldie of unknown origin. His face is now completely dark as are his front legs, chest, and throat, which now have the dark brown fur that will turn blond by this time next year.

A shy bear we have yet to identify was here drooling saliva. We don’t think of that as a problem. Some bears do it more than others.

A super day with super people.
