A New View at the Bear Center - UPDATE May 11, 2018

the electric fence wires in front of the windows were removed along with the wooden window den that the bears no longer use. That meant Lucky could walk right up to the windows and stand where the window den used to be. I can imagine children at the windows looking straight up at towering bears—a new experience.

Out the window at the WRI, red-winged blackbirds are back.

The picture of Charlie Russell from March 3, 2014 at a restaurant in St. Paul with a bunch of us bear people brought back a good memory.

Thank you for all you do.
