An Eagle Day Plus Ethel - UPDATE May 4, 2018
The big news is that sweet 2-year-old Ethel made it through and is back. A super bear. I can’t wait for Bear Course participants to meet her. Stratton and a bear we didn’t see well enough to identify visited, too.
The excitement the rest of the day was bald eagles. Dark juveniles circled overhead. An adult landed, and another adult swooped in, grabbed a chicken leg and was gone.
The morning was beautiful with calm water, reflected trees, and the view I love outside my window, especially in spring.
The day ended with a red fox calmly taking a chicken leg for his dinner.
Thank you for all you do.
