Fright Wigs, Spring is Here - UPDATE April 17, 2018

On this windy day, some of the neighbors here were having a bad hair day. At the same time, spring sprang. 20180417 Red SquirrelWith temperatures 11 degrees higher than forecasted, the 10 days of warm days started with a welcome meltdown. Icicles on the roof disconnected at their bases and fell. Bare patches expanded. Wondering if the softening snow will encourage bears with newly shed foot pads to roam more, perhaps giving a sighting in the neighborhood. The next 10 days will have temperatures in the mid-40s to mid-50’s with some nights staying above freezing. Things will change fast now.Chickadee
