Juliet Holds Out – UPDATE January 21, 2014

Juliet wakes upJuliet wakes up  Each time Juliet shows some activity, we get excited and think, “This could be it!”  But each time she settles back into a deep restful sleep.  We continue to wait and watch for signs of active labor.

The 2014 Black Bear Field Study courses are now open for registration.  The courses consist of slideshow/lectures, field trips, and discussions.  Emphasis is on daily observation of wild black bears to learn their vocalizations, body language, social organization, ecology, and how people can better coexist with bears.  We are offering 8 courses during July and August.  Each course is limited to 8 participants.  Learn more about the courses and comments from past participants at http://www.bearstudy.org/website/field-study-courses.html

Thank you for all you do.
