Checking on Lily – UPDATE October 10, 2013

LilyLilyGreat day!  It was super to meet ~150 people from around the world at the Bear Center today.  They travelled up from the International Wolf Center Symposium in Duluth.  It was good to see many old friends and make some new ones.  The Bear Center staff had everything in order, and the morning came off without a hitch.

On another topic, it was exciting to see who all is coming to the Hinckley Gathering on November 9 at https://www.facebook.com/events/325477620916979/?ref_dashboard_filter=calendar.  We’re looking forward to it.  Bear-bitten birchBear-bitten birchOrganizer Sarah Zirbes has to guarantee a head count to Grand Casino on October 24, so payment of the $20 for food should be made by then.  Sarah says she would never turn people away at the door, but not having enough food could make things complicated if a lot of people show up at the last minute.  Sarah wants this gathering to be the best one yet.

Thank you for all you do.
