Quiet day in the den
It was a pretty quiet day in Lily’s den, but things were perking in the Education Outreach Program. A new team is forming—the Computer Games Team. More about that as things firm up, but it is exciting to think of what could come out of this to reach the junior/senior high demographic.
In New York State, Tom Hennigan continues to pilot test the Black Bear Box. This time he presented to adults at the Wolf Mountain Nature Center around how people and bears can co-exist.
Recently Lynn’s poor choice of a word for inbreeding offended some and created a stir. I guess at 71 words don’t come as easily as they used to. Sue has corrected the update, which is why the title now says revised. Thank you to those who brought it to our attention.
The report sent from the WLAH-TV shed every night so we can track the battery voltage showed a dip last night. Jason made a trip to the shed to wipe snow off the solar panels and retrieve an empty propane tank. We are very happy how little propane the shed uses to keep the batteries and equipment plenty warm.
